"You're About to Discover a 'Secret' Most Marketers Will Never Use About A Simple Way You Can Boost Your Signups and Sales
Wouldn't you like a simple and inexpensive tool that allows you to entice your customers onto your email lists or gives them a great reason to go to your order page?
Think about these facts:
- Everybody loves a deal
- Everybody really likes a SPECIAL deal - an exclusive deal
- Everybody is looking for a discount.
- And everybody likes being in on something - having a secret
Maybe some of this seems a little childish, but we do feel that way, don't we?
Whatever you're marketing (even if it's just a hobby blog or a fun site), you have to be offering something if you want any kind of results. Ezines, reports, products, entertainment, information. It's a long list.
You may not have started building an email list, yet. While there's a lot of Guru nonsense around, when they say you need a list, that is a truth. If you're going to market, you're going to be building a list.
If you're not going to market, if it's not a serious business, or if all you want to do is pure MFA, then you might as well click off now.
OptinCode lets you give a visitor a special code that will redirect them to another page when they enter it.

Simple, right?
You saw the popin, right? Did you sign up? I imagine you have a ton of books on email marketing. True this is a pretty decent one, but not unique. What's unique is the discount on this product. Were you tempted if you didn't sign up? Have you kept the window open in case you change your mind?
You're a marketer so you're probably pretty skeptical and you've seen 100s or thousands of offers. But think about your reaction to the popin and the offer of a discount. How do you suppose your potential customers will respond?
Even if you didn't sign up and are happy to pay full price, I expect you'll see what I'm talking about and why this can boost your signups and sales. This apparently simple approach appeals to some very basic and powerful psychology.
Most sign-up forms are offering a free course, a teaser, a sample. Very, very few offer a discount on the product that's only available by using the special code. And that's simply one fairly basic approach.
Squeeze pages, 'free' access to membership downloads, time-limited promotional codes, new codes provided to list members by email once or twice a month - once you start thinking about and using promo/discount codes you may have too many ideas to implement them all.
As well as using an autoresponder and a signup form, you can also provide codes to potential customers in forum posts, on Squidoo, MySpace or through your blog. You can send codes to existing email lists. Even include them in off-line direct mailings or other off-line advertising. Think outside the box.
Think about a few of the kinds of incentives you could use for signups:
- Offer a secret bonus, hint about what it is.
- Discounts - or even a free product - think lifetime value.
- Access to members only pages
- Access to special download pages
- Access to video or audio content
- Time limited codes to increase urgency
- New codes on a monthly basis for access to new items - so your prospects look forward to your emails, read them to get the code and return to the site regularly.
This is a very flexible concept and the more you think about it the more uses will pop into your mind - and you'll notice that you can design the incentives themselves to provide additional marketing opportunities beyond an email list.
Discount codes and discount coupons have been around for a long time. They're still around because they still work.
And here's a totally different way to use this tool. You may have noticed that some SE bots seem allergic to pages with too many links, particularly affiliate links.
Use OptinCode to put what looks like a link, a banner or other image link on your page.
When users click on the apparent link or on the image, they go where they expected to go because OptiCode sends them there. But to an SE bot it's just a form. Since you can enter multiple code and url combinations, you can mix and match.

Other available discount code scripts tend to be more complicated to install and use, as well as being much more expensive. Many of those complex features are never going to be used by most marketers and in many cases complex scripts never get used or installed. Ease of installation and use is a real plus with OptinCode.
OptinCode is simple to install and use. The documentation is clear and you'll find it easy to follow.
The most complicated part isn't OptinCode, it's setting up the autoresponder lists and messages. But if you've been doing email marketing and list building, you already have those skills. If you haven't, well, you really should start. Having sites, doing marketing and not capturing names and email addresses means you've been doing lots of work that you aren't getting the the maximum benefits from.
With OptinCode you can maximize your signups - plus you'll almost certainly get additional sales. We're all looking for bargains and discounts.
How it works and What you'll need to do:
- OptinCode lets you add a discount/promo code entry below your sales point (or at the bottom of your sales letter, etc). When someone enters the correct code they are redirected to the appropriate page - where you have your discounted offer.
Gimme a break, let me Order Now
- To use this to build your list, you will need to be able to add an autoresponder form to your page (or to a pop-in or slide-in). The autoresponder needs, on confirmation (if you use a double opt-in system like AWeber) to send them the appropriate discount code, restate your sales message, tell them where to enter the code, etc.
- The detail is like this.
- You configure the script in the browser Admin Panel, putting in the codes and matching URLS.
- For each code-URL combination you can leave the Starting Date and Ending Date at their default values or enter dates that set up time-limited codes that expire - or don't become valid until a specific date
- You can enter as many code-URL-Dates pairs as you want. If you want multiple codes that redirect to the same page, you need to enter each pair.
- You can also edit the error message that's displayed if no code or an invalid code is entered.
- You can send them to other pages in the same directory, in other directories, or to another website.
- It obfuscates most of the URL that displays in the browser. (Does not work with IE7)
- You can, as the demo shows, also use it to put text or image "links" on your pages. You may want OptinCode for that alone, even if you don't use email or have any product and just do affiliate marketing.
- You will need to be able to upload the files and set appropriate permissions using an FTP program or your site file manager.
The package also includes a sample "sales" page and a sample "discount" page. That makes it easy for you to copy and paste the input form and CSS from the demo sales page to customize for your own code input form.
The pdf manual goes through installation and setup and includes pictures to make things clearer.
This may be one of the very best ways to build your list - from your own site - that you'll find.
And the price - without the Discount code - is only USD $57.00, through PayPal.
Please don't forget to sign-up for the support list on the download page. You will only receive any mods, updates or upgrades for this script, IF you sign up for the support list (each of my products has its own separate support list).
Thanks for taking a look,
